Job Description

Job Purpose

To serve as a lead hand in ensuring the field crew works efficiently and effectively to achieve project targets and milestones in line with company and regulatory standards specifications.

Primary Accountabilities (Duties & Responsibilities)

• Promotes the adherence of appropriate SOPs, fatigue management and all HSE protocols among crew during assigned field task to ensure safety and the achievements of targets.
• Acts in the absence of the surveyor and as leading hand among crew during field survey to ensure conformance with work requirements and efficiency.
• Responsible for supervising the packing and unpacking of instruments for field task.
• Responsible for the safety of equipment within one’s care to ensure efficiency and quality delivery of outcomes.
• Typical field responsibilities include design mark out, as-built update, stockpile update, floor/toe checks, etc to ensure the delivery of targets.
• Provides filed updates and reports to the team to track progress of work as requested by the Surveyor.
• Perform any other related duties based on the exigencies of the project/ Company as assigned by the Supervisor.
