Job Description

ARB Apex Bank is looking for Digital Transformation Consultant for immediate employment . ARB Apex Bank is embarking on a Digital Transformation Project to enable the organization to deliver innovative digital services to the Rural and Community Banks (RCBs) and their customers. The project requires the assessment and upgrade of the current IT infrastructure and business applications and their alignment with the ARB Apex Bank Digital Transformation strategy.

Responsibilities

• Perform a digital readiness assessment of ARB Apex Bank’s Data Centre and network infrastructure. This should include the network, storage, processing capacity and security, considering the current services/ products and the ones that are projected to be implemented, especially Internet banking, Mobile banking and Agency banking;
• Develop technical specifications for the upgrade of the storage array for primary and disaster recovery sites respectively to accommodate new business, especially Internet banking, mobile banking and agency banking;
• Develop technical specifications for the upgrade of Cyber and Information Security, consistent with Bank of Ghana’s Cyber and Information Security Directives;
• Develop technical specification of Internet and Mobile banking solution;
• Develop technical specification of industry leading Business Intelligence and Analytics tools.
• Propose strategies for the procurement of new infrastructure and Business application solution (Storage, Business Intelligence Application, etc);
• Coordinate the implementation and successful piloting and rollout of the agency banking solution;
• Assess the capacity and skills of ARB Apex Bank and RCB’s staff (IT and Ebanking) to implement the new/upgrade systems and develop a training plan.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or in related field, and a recognized relevant IT industry certification;
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in IT industry, with hands-on project implementation experience at senior level;
• Knowledge of modern application architecture designs used for digital products such as microservices, Rapid Application Development (RAD) for both mobile / Web and Application Program Interface (API) implementation;
• Experience in Private and Public Cloud services such as Big Data and Analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud Security and migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud;
• Experience in leading a Digital Transformation program and IT / Data Center projects in Ghana and internationally;
• Experience in Automation of IT processes and tooling as well as with Virtualization and Containerization solutions;
• Experience in the network architecture, design and implementation of a national Wide Area Network (WAN), Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Network Admission Control (NAC), Intrusion Detention and Prevention Systems (IDPS), Data Center solution and Software Defined Networking (SDN) including the automation of these components;
