The results of the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination, which was written in October 2021, have been announced by the National Teaching Council, the entity tasked with regulating the professional growth of Ghanaian teachers.
According to a statement made by the council\’s Public Relations Officer Dennis Osei-Owusu on Friday, the council plans to reveal the results of applicants who took the exams in October 2021.
He stated that the results would be available on Monday, December 6, 2021, allowing them to begin the process of activating their teacher portal for portfolio creation.
According to the council, all candidates can access their results via the NTC online portal at exam.ntc.gov.gh using their registration pins or their examination index numbers.
The Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination, administered by the National Teaching Council, began in September 2018 and has since become a requirement of the Ghana Education Service for teachers to be accepted into Ghanaian classrooms in order to facilitate and implement the new Standard Based Curriculum.
The purpose of the examination in its current form is to place teachers in the professional landscape that has been lacking in the country\’s educational system in recent years, and as such, all persons who wish to teach in Ghanaian classrooms after 2018 are required by NTC laws to sit and write these exams.
