Cardinal Namdini Mining Limited (CNML) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shandong Gold Mining Co. Ltd., which is duly listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKSE). Job Description

 

Job Purpose

To provide administrative services & support to the Health Safety & Environment (HSE) team including filing, data entry and HSE Management system tool administration as well as maintain and update online HSE registry accounts; coordinate documentation required and communicate updates to all stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with HSE Department
  • Monitor HSE software system, liaising with the HSE and IT team to manage the system as a super user
  • Manage and analyze various data and statistics and generate associated reports and monitor the progress of corrective actions related to HSE for the entire site.
  • Serve as point of reference for HSE Induction and training queries and registration related to HSE.
  • Provide administrative support to the HSE Manager and the HSE team
  • Review and coordinate risk registers, incident reports, HSE inspections and audits
  • Manage internal audit databases, registers, and auditing systems
  • Collate monthly and quarterly report for onward submission to Regulators
  • Process and input HSE invoices, raise requisitions through the finance system, e.g., SAP 
  • Perform any other related duties based on the exigencies of the Company as assigned by the Supervisor

 

Required Skills or Experience

 

Minimum qualification (s)

 

  • HND or diploma in health, safety, environment, social sciences, natural or physical sciences or related discipline.
Experience (Minimum)
  • Three (3) year’s administration experience
  • Experience in HSE Management Systems (ISO 45001;2018 and ISO 14001:2015)
Knowledge
  • Established IT knowledge (Microsoft Office, email, software packages etc.)
  • Intermediate Excel skill.
  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • Proven ability working with Word, Excel spreadsheet’s written reports and associated correspondence.
Skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to follow instructions and provide support as required to members of the HSE team.
  • Attention to detail to identify inconsistencies in documents such as reports and invoices
  • Organized and able to meet tight deadlines with excellent time management skills
  • Flexible in approach with ability to respond to changing pattern of demand at work which can be unpredictable and unplanned, requiring constant shifts in priority
