Role Purpose
- Have oversight responsibility over the entire retail structure across the Country ensuring the achievement of set targets.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1st degree in sales management, marketing, social sciences or related field is required.
- ACII qualification is non-negotiable;
- A second degree is an advantage.
- At least 10 years of hard-core retail sales management work experience.
- Experience in the Financial industry is an advantage
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business plans for the company’s retail channel
- Distribute Metropolitan retail products to the market through existing channels, whilst developing new ones.
- Support the Zones to manage existing payroll deduction sources, while facilitating the development of new ones
- Meet production, financial, manpower and profitability targets (manage the production, people, and expenses budgets) and report thereon
- Maintain and manage an in-house agency force and support the development of broker retail channel (as required by business plan)
- Manage and control KPA’s of subordinates e.g., New business acquisition (volume and value), conservation, etc.
- Ensure adherence to the Regulatory and Statutory requirements including Agency compliance matters.
- Drive efforts to improve client service and fair treatment of clients at both the Zone and Branch levels
- Perform any other task assigned by your supervisor within the scope and context of your role
- Prepare periodic activity and performance reports for the review of Supervisor
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Manage people, financial and other company resources under control.
- Perform any other task assigned within scope ad context of role.
