The Embassy of the United States of America in Accra is the diplomatic mission of the United States in Ghana. It is the focal point for events relating to the United States held in Ghana.
Duties
- The functions of the Program Assistant will consist of assisting the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Country Attaché with the administrative oversight of the DEA\’s program and funds. Responsible for international travel, procurement of accountable equipment, payment of rental facilities, oversight of vehicles, as well as a myriad of other administrative functions.
- The Program Assistant will work closely with DEA Headquarters\’ Program Office in assisting with the data entry of information into DEA\’s database which includes equipment and inventory updates as well as personnel tracking.

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 3 years of prior work experience in quantitative analysis, prepared reports and briefings on the results of studies, budgetary resources long-range implementation and administration of major programs, with an emphasis on budgeting and financial management are required. Must have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite of products, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Adobe Pro; and database management software.
Education Requirements:
- Two years of college/university is required.

- LANGUAGE: Fluent English in reading, speaking and writing. This may be tested.
