ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Taking part in the increase of the duration of life of the electrical equipment by following their hours of work and by starting on time the preventive maintenance operations;
- Carrying out daily visits on the electrical equipment in accordance with the weekly visit plan to detect the anomalies;
- Executing the lists of the inspections and the preventive controls to carry out;
- Assessing the parameters of functioning of each electrical equiment.
- Drawing up the reports of incidents and of intervention on the equipment;
- Declaring the advice of unserviceability and closing after verification of the execution of the repairing works.
- Complete daily plant electrical equipment maintenance inspection and report to your supervisor.
- Repairs all plant equipment using all the available tools and resources and ensure all equipment’s are functioning properly
- Maintain and clean work area according to corporate standard and perform all work in accordance with established safety and environmental procedures.
- Recommend measures of improving plant equipment performance.
- Perform daily housekeeping at the workshop and work area, MCC’S, Tools room etc.
- Adhere to all other instruction given by the supervisor
- Attend to all plant equipment fault troubleshooting and fix all faulty equipment in a safely manner
- Actively participate in all safety functions and maintain all safety tools in possession.
- Maintain and secure all maintenance tools in a proper manner.
- Assist in training newly hired making sure that, they work safely.
- Report all defects to safety devices in the plant to the supervisor
- Conduct continues monitoring of all plant running equipment condition and correct any visible threat that can cause plant stoppage.
- Report plant equipment fault above you to your supervisor.
- Execute all activities relating to plant maintenance and any other works assign to you by your supervisor.
- Attend to on call for plant maintenance repairs when the need arises
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- A Diploma/Technician certificate in electricity and instrumentation
- A minimum of 3 year of past experience as an Electrical Technician
- Behavioral skills: Rigor and sense of the method
Technical skills:
- Definition technical specifications of the industrial materials
- Reading of graphs, plans, diagrams and technical information
- Analysis of liability of the industrial machines
- Ability of analysis
- Ability to solve problems
