AirtelTigo is a solid, dynamic and innovative brand, providing a wide range of telecommunications services, including mobile voice, data mobile financial services and business connectivity solutions. Launched in November 2017, from a merger between erstwhile Airtel and Tigo, AirtelTigo is the second-largest Mobile Network Operator in Ghana.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve and grow device sales width and depth within Greater Accra, Eastern and Volta regions
- Drive handset base with a focus on new customer acquisition within the zone
- Increase smartphone handset base and penetration by ensuring demand devices are always in stock at AirtelTigo customer touch points within the zone
- Work closely with Marketing by proposing product offerings bundled with devices that will resonate with the customers within the zone.
- Increase smartphone penetration.
- Study the competition device landscape always and ensure devices stocked are of demand to customers.
- Always ensure widespread availability of devices in all owned shops and distributor outlets
- Ensure commercial heads are aligned on all device strategizes within the territory
Required Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Business administration
- MBA in management, preferable
- 3-5 years of working experience with 2 years or more in similar role
- Good communication skills
- Open minded exploring new areas and spot opportunities
- Experience in explaining the business rationale in simple terms
- Mobile Apps development
- Digital Campaign management
