The Associate role is a frontline change agent for Partners in Performance clients. You are the primary source of reliable data and rock-solid analysis, providing the fact base the engagement team uses to make decisions in real time.
To be a successful consultant at Partners in Performance you will need to have an outstanding academic record and a track record of high performance in your working career to date. Having a dynamic disposition is a pre-requisite.
You will also need to be driven to deliver high quality work, be prepared to roll up your sleeves and work inside our clients’ businesses to get the job done. You will need to care about people and developing them, as coaching is a big part of our success.
What you will need to become a member of the Partners in Performance consulting team:

- Some industry or consulting experience post completing your undergraduate degree (minimum of 18 months’ work experience)
- Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university, with excellent results (distinction average)While we consider candidates from a broad spectrum of degrees, we place a strong emphasis on quantitative skills studied in commerce, engineering and science-based courses
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including analytics
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to coach, influence, and build trust with colleagues and clients
- Demonstrated passion and bias for results
- Must be fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to respond clearly to hard questions under pressure and to use visual tools without assistance to communicate insights
- Above average knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel (Power BI advantageous)
- Demonstrated alignment with Partners in Performance values
Responsibilities include:

- You coach client analysts and line managers, sharing your skills and building relationships across the client site, using your network to ensure improvement plans are firmly based on the real-world that clients operate in
- Your key responsibility is to provide rigour and accuracy to the improvement effort. As the chief source of insight based on the data you work with, you facilitate the prioritisation of improvement opportunities and use root cause analysis to help resolve day-to-day issues with implementation
- You directly support client Idea owners, providing technical and analytical support to ensure improvement ideas are successful
- You recognise when ideas are under or over-performing relative to expectations and you’re the primary source for validating the benefit stream generated by these ideas
