- To drive the implementation of the Corporate HR Policies and Procedures within the Regions so as to ensure compliance.
- To align business regional business objectives with the overall AO business objectives and strategies.
- To provide a consultancy service to Branch MDs and management on human resources, working together with regional HRBP’s to ensure in-country practices align with the overall AO HR Strategy
- To assist the in-country HRBP’s meet the set HR KPIs and action items set by their respective MD’s.
- Monitor HR practices in-country so as to ensure compliance with the relevant country employment laws and practices
- To assist in-country HRBPs with regularly conducting best practice benchmarking on all aspects of HR and design guide the in-country HRBPs in establishing appropriate effective people practices within their Region.
- A critical success factor to this role is relationship building skills and an ability to deal with a variety of complexities across the business, especially the unique culture and duality in executive organizational structures.
Key Task Areas:
1. [Talent management] Plan year-round talent management processes including performance and workforce evaluation, development and succession plans.
2. [Management support] Apply expertise, systems and processes to meet business needs by collaborating with other members of HR.
3. [HR Index management] Prepare key HR indicators, grasp areas of opportunity, and provide supports for the development of related action plans.
4. [Organizational culture management] Prepare and monitor survey actions with employees. Provide feedback to managers.
5. [Recruitment support] Design a recruitment process and job descriptions with managers.
6. [Business manager support] Plan communication, team meetings, approval processes and team building.
7. [Employee issue support] Provide support to resolve complex employee relations issues, performing investigations if needed.
Qualification / Education:
University Degree in Human Resource Management/Member of CIHRM or a higher discipline is an advantage
Job Experience:
Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
