Job Purpose
- Provide generalized administrative support to the Human Resources Manager in the successful design and implementation of all HR operational functions
Principal Accountabilities
- Liaise with external recruitment agency for details of shortlisted candidates and smooth execution of the recruitment and selection process
- Provide support for candidate interviewing by setting up the venue and providing all logistical materials
- Coordinate the induction of new recruits, national service personnel and students on industrial attachment
- Responsible for handling employee requests in line with HR procedures
- Coordinate internal and external training programmes for staff capacity building
- Compile monthly staff attendance and other labour statistics for HR reporting
- Check overtime reports for accuracy of claim
- Provide administrative support to the HR Manager for staff appraisals
- Manage the leave roster for its smooth and effective implementation
- Record meetings between Management and the Union as well as other HR meetings with other stakeholders
- Liaise with third party service providers to provide efficient canteen, staff transportation and laundry services
Professional Qualification And Experience
- Relevant university degree in Human Resources, Management and/or Industrial
Psychology is required
- A master’s degree in Human Resources and/or relevant professional qualification wouldbe a plus
- At least 3 years’ experience in HR Management, with 2 years in a supervisory role, in a manufacturing establishment is required
- Good working knowledge/experience in Human Resources Information System
Functional Competencies
- Ability to implement effective processes for recruiting, identifying and developing talent, managing performance, and delivering an engaging employee experience
- Sound knowledge of the Labour Laws of Ghana and other related employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word)
