Responsibilities
- Recruiting new staff
- Managing payroll
- Designing job descriptions and performance targets
- Looking after the health, safety and welfare of all employees
- Organising staff training
- Monitoring staff performance and attendance
- Advising line managers and other employees on employment law and the employer\’s own employment policies and procedures
- Formulating and implementing appropriate HR policies
- advising on disciplinary and employee performance problems
Qualifications
- BSc in Human Resource Management from a reputable institution. Membership of relevant Professional Association would be an added advantage.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role.
Essential skills
- Working knowledge in MS suit (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook etc)
- effective organisational skills
- the ability to form working relationships with people at all levels
- teamworking and interpersonal skills
- diplomacy and the ability to deal with situations that are stressful to others
