Shelter Mart Ghana Ltd is a wholly owned Ghanaian Company specializing in a bouquet of property-related services, ranging from property rentals to property management for both residential and commercial buildings. The company’s prime objective is to bring sanity and professionalism to the hitherto neglected and highly degraded property management and rental services.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting new staff
  • Managing payroll
  • Designing job descriptions and performance targets
  • Looking after the health, safety and welfare of all employees
  • Organising staff training
  • Monitoring staff performance and attendance
  • Advising line managers and other employees on employment law and the employer\’s own employment policies and procedures
  • Formulating and implementing appropriate HR policies
  • advising on disciplinary and employee performance problems

Qualifications

  • BSc in Human Resource Management from a reputable institution. Membership of relevant Professional Association would be an added advantage.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role.

Essential skills

  • Working knowledge in MS suit (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook etc)
  • effective organisational skills
  • the ability to form working relationships with people at all levels
  • teamworking and interpersonal skills
  • diplomacy and the ability to deal with situations that are stressful to others
  • meticulous attention to detail
