Company Driver at Affinity Ghana

Job Summary

The Company Driver shall be responsible for the transportation of personnel and
goods of the company. The main duties will include but not limited to running official
errands, ensuring routine maintenance of vehicles, maintaining vehicle movement log
during working hours. Depending on the exigencies of work, the candidate may be
required to work into evenings and weekends.
A strong attention to detail is required
in order to execute the role successfully.

Key responsibilities

Transportation of personnel and goods of the company to and from designated locations according to company policy
Ensure that the vehicle is maintained properly by doing routine checks and ensure it is always fuelled and ready for use
Keep mileage records and repair records up to date
Contact servicing company promptly and deliver vehicle for maintenance when due as per the vehicle’s manufacturer\’ standard.
Ensure company vehicle(s) is(are) clean
Inform supervisor about any potential problem with any car promptly
To ensure the cars documentation are up to date including road worthy and vehicle insurance

Key skills and requirements

Unquestionable knowledge and understanding of road safety and traffic regulations and impeccable driving history
Competent knowledge and understanding of Accra’s streets and roads
Must have extensive knowledge of the operating area
Good organizational and time management skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Must be able to work under pressure
Must be punctual and reliable
