Marriage Link (M-Link Consult) is a company that responds to pressing social and family challenges facing the Ghanaian society, in particular the institution of marriage (www.marriagelink.net).  The company has the objective of promoting social happiness and wellbeing through the institution of marriage. In this regard, the company provides a one-stop shop of marriage support. We have four distinct but inter-related packages, namely:

• Marriage Partner Identification and Matching for people who are ready to take the long walk to marriage and need assistance to identify partners in a confidential, reliable and purpose-driven manner;
• Mremarital Counselling for faith and non-faith-based individuals to adequately prepare them before marriage. This includes legal education on the types and meaning of the various forms of marriages under the laws of Ghana;
• Marriage Events Organization to assist couples to have stress-free marriage events which are customized to suit their budget thus making it easy for people to marry without much financial strain; and
• Marriage Juice-Up service that enables already married couples who have challenges in their marriages and who require independent, private and professional counselling support.

On top of the above, the company has also set out to organize major events relating to marriages in the coming weeks and months.

Job Description

The Publicity and Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for public outreach activities of the company. The incumbent will demonstrate understanding and familiarity with the art of publicising events and products of a company. Specifically, the incumbent will:

• Contribute to branding of company products to attract the right targets.
• Identify appropriate media channels to publicize company products.
• Organize strategic market entry interventions that will achieve effective market penetration of company products and services.
• Play lead role in advertising company products and services.
• Appear on radio and TV programs to explain and market company products.
• Mobilizing colleagues from within the company to deliver on planned activities.
• Vet materials published on company websites and social media handles to ensure appropriateness of messaging.

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications: Tertiary education

This is a professional role that requires practical experience and knowledge in the field. We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated experience who has drive and initiative and a desire to explore new territories and challenges. You must be a team player and willing to work flexible hours.

Ability to drive will be an advantage.
