Project Brief:- Scaling Jobs for Women with Technology is a project to create an equitable path for economically disadvantaged young women to capitalize on digital economic opportunities and reduce the digital gender gap
Summary
The Software Trainer is responsible for teaching a class on technical courses in intermediate and advanced technology and coding skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Teach students how to be proficient in web development languages such as
- HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
- Python
- PHP
- Android development
- MIT App Inventor
- Assist in the design and development of curriculum and course outline
- Assess individual training needs and tailor training methods as needed
- Prepare, plan and research teaching materials and lessons
- Spend contact time with students or groups, inspecting examinations, checking and assessing student work, and providing feedback
- Make use of new technology such as distance learning or video conferencing; keep
- Collaborate with the lead trainer to keep the curriculum up to date on IT skills and market trends
- Perform all other tasks as assigned
