Role Purpose
- Implement the compliance strategy aligned to the compliance monitoring plan to enable the business within a legal framework.
Requirements
- 1st Degree in law, business administration or a related field with at least 3 years post qualification work experience is required.
- At least level 1 ACCA/CA/CIMA will be an advantage
- Experience in the financial industry is an advantage.
- Key competencies include proficiency in applicable regulations, attention to detail, integrity, business acumen, collaboration etc.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support in the Identification of potential compliance risks;
- Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations;
- Assist in the analysis of new legislation to identify implications for the business;
- Support in the implementation of controls to mitigate compliance risk;
- Assist the business to build compliance processes into the business processes;
- Review internal control processes at regular intervals to determine its efficiency
- Deliver monthly compliance & control reports to supervisor
- Assist in managing the contracts and agreements library
- Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor within scope and context of role
