A world class ICT company that specialises in Enterprise Application Development is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced persons for the following position:- ICT Training Consultant

Overall Purpose | ICT Training Consultant At Strategic Security Systems International

  • To assist the organization in achieving its strategic and operational objectives by designing, developing and delivering ICT training and consultancy services to all staff and customers
  • To act as agents of change and facilitate the implementation of corporate ICT projects in collaboration with systems and application developers
  • Being able to give presentations to customers or prospective customers

Qualification Required & Experience

  • bachelor’s degree and qualified as a Certified ICT Trainer or equivalent or working towards the qualification

Summary Of Responsibilities And Personal Duties

  • On going development of an ICT Competency Assessment framework which identifies training needs of staff at all levels
  • Develop a range of training courses which meet the requirements of, on going skills improvement, new fuctions, modules and systems and ICT policies and procedures
  • Carry out monitoring and analysis of training provided, using feedback to improve course-content and style to ensure that it meets the requirement of the organisation.
  • Ensure that the ICT training facilities are appropriately equipped and ready for use at all times
  • Providing consultancy and advice to ensure that all ICT training are of a consistently high standard and meets users needs
  • Deliver ICT training courses on a classroom basis, group presentation or one to one ensuring that staff needs are met in the most effective and efficient manner
  • Provider training on the in-house application systems, Microsoft Office applications
  • Produce and Maintain training documentation and manuals on all training provided
  • To review software upgrades and service packs prior to installation, identifying and advising on training requirements
  • Carry out consultancy and support to deliver new solutions to meet business needs based on company supported applications
  • Supervise temporarily training staff assigned to the section for specific projects
  • Act as an ambassador for the ICT service and training which can be provided for staff, attending team meetings and briefings as required
  • To review training impact of software upgrades and service packs prior to installation, identifying and advising on training requirements
  • Understake such other duties of this post as may from time to time be required
