Job Description

We are an International Catering Company operating in various activities in the catering industry and we are looking for an CHEF / PASTRY CHEF.

Job Summary 

  • Reporting to Chef de Patie.
  • Producing food items according to approved specification / recipes.

Duties include but not limited to the following:

  • Directs and trains kitchen workers as instructed.
  • Prepares and cooks food/pastries following approved specifications / recipes.
  • Ensures adherence to HACCP and regional safety regulations in compliance with gategroup policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for safe and clean work station and equipment at all times.

 

Required Skills or Experience

 

  • Qualification as a Chef by trade OR GG Internal Certification following minimum of 3 years experience in all sections of a Gate Gourmet hot kitchen as a Kitchen Worker
  • Apprenticeship or associates Degree in Culinary Arts, formal culinary education or a related field required
