Applications Administrator

Provides necessary technical support relating to various applications, system-level software and other general computing applications. Also responsible for any malfunctioning of applications or software systems and analyzing necessary software requirements.

• Responsible for Applications administration and configuration: workflow development and administration along with end-user support
• Responsible for day-to-day support for application-related issues as it relates to incidents and work requests
• Responsible for providing training to the users regarding any application system upgrades.
• Responsible for delivering regular and customized training to teams within the business
• Responsible for assisting with the documentation of application quick reference guides and manuals
• Providing technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when required
• Developing reports for teams across the business
• Defines, establishes and performs regular backups of applications data as and when required

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent technical expertise required

Relevant Experience:

• Experience in the Oil & Gas industries.
• Application Software proficiency in MS Project.
• Experience supporting applications within an integrated environment.
• Some software developing/writing of algorithms experience
• Some experience with databases
• +2year experience in Applications support/management
• Knowledge of Communication and Infrastructure Systems and experience applying these concepts
