Job Profile:
The role is responsible for providing general oversight of marketing and communication activities towards student recruitment efforts as well as managing the University’s brand locally and within the Webster network. This role reports directly to the Director of Enrollment Management.
Job location: East Legon, Accra
Key Responsibilities include:
· Developing creative marketing campaigns and tactics to deliver outcomes in marketing and recruitment strategy in line with the institution’s goals
· Develop and distribute marketing content (i.e. videos, pictures, jingles, graphics, etc.) according to the recruitment plan and in line with the University’s internal (i.e. Webster Today) as well as external branding needs
· Analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) and then drawing insights to optimize marketing campaign performance toward the quality lead generation
· Make data-driven recommendations on marketing efforts to the Enrollment Director and the team to improve leads generation metrics through reports
· Provide advertising and marketing support to enrollment-related events i.e public lectures, masterclasses, and other thought leadership seminars that may be needed
· Manage and oversee Webster University Ghana’s marketing materials including souvenirs, brochures, flyers, etc. in accordance with the Global Media Communication (GMC)’s office at the home campus
· Manage stakeholder relationships (i.e. digital agency, media houses, etc.) and keep up-to-date records of all vendors, external collaborators
· Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications and Skills
Our ideal candidate has:
· Certification in marketing, communications, or any relevant field of study
· 5yrs experience in marketing, communications, and/or advertising
· Thorough understanding of marketing elements (both traditional and digital marketing)
· Marketing software and applications (Adobe Creative Studio, Canva, CRM, etc.)
· Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to work some evenings and weekends
· Research and analytical skills
· Copywriting and Graphic design skills
· Exceptional communication and writing skills
· Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to achieve objectives
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· A creative mind partnered with curiosity
· Relationship-building skills and very personable
· Attention to detail and critical eye for accuracy
