First National Bank is searching for a suitably qualified or experienced candidate to fill in the position of Facilities Manager
Purpose
To manage the planned and reactive maintenance for allocated low complexity building sites to ensure efficient operation of building facilities and equipment
Responsibilities
- Prevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
- Manage utilities and equipment life cycle; ensure implementation of continuous improvement of the equipment/infrastructure
- Manage an operational team in maintaining allocated building sites and building systems
- Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
- Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisation
- Display and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivity
- Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
- Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes
- Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions
- Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy, and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
- Deliver customer experience excellence in own service delivery aligned to Organisational values and service standards
- Manages risks in own area of responsibility
Experience and qualifications
- Minimum Qualification – BTech in built environment
- Preferred Qualification – Degree/Qualification in built environment preferred
- Experience – 3 to 5 years experience in implementing planned and reactive maintenance for allocated building sites which are less than 20000m2
