Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Whilst reporting to the Head of Fixed Income (FI) Sales, build and manage strategic partnerships with Financial Institutional clients as the bank seeks to grow its FI distribution business in Ghana
- Together with Corporate representatives, drive the growth of the bank’s FI sales business via increased wallet share of existing relationship, customer base expansion/new client acquisition, and driving the onboarding of new clients in the relevant segment.
- Manage relationships with Portfolio managers and other relevant officials of target clients in various FI sales client segments in a bid to meet client needs
- Ensure that the bank’s policies and relevant credit limits are always adhered to
- Contribute meaningfully to effective internal stakeholder engagement, acting as the primary point of contact ensuring the preparation and appropriate circulation of suitable market updates
- Closing new to market FI deals
- Contribute to the roll out of new FI products and market development activities
- Undertake customer visits and joint customer visits with retail and corporate RMs
FORMAL LEARNING REQUIREMENTS
- Education Level: Graduate
- Qualification Required (Essential) Bachelor’s Degree
- Qualification Required (Preferred) ACI Dealing Certificate
Experience required: 2 -3 years of sound background and knowledge of Banking
- Working knowledge of Risk Management
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture a plus
- Experience with Business process design and improvement required
- Certification in Business Process Design considered a plus
