Job Description
The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for marketing activities online, billboards, TV, Radio stations and selling of products & services by providing first-class service in other to boost sales. He/she acts as an intermediary between Jogobu company and clients.
To meet this objective, the Sales & Marketing Manager identify potential opportunities, validate the opportunities, establish marketing/pricing strategies, and close sales deals. The objective of this role is to improve sales, increase market share and brand preference.
Sales & Marketing Executive Responsibilities:
- Online Posting/Advertising of company products and services on (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram & Twitter, etc)
- Arranging of traditional advertisements (Radio, Tv, Newspaper & Billboards)
- Organizing Seminars, Workshops, Company Event’s, and Marketing Campaigns
- Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials and sending weekly marketing emails.
- Maintaining and Updating Customer Mailing List
- Prospecting and Visiting of Clients
- Daily / Weekly leads generation (minimum of 2 validated leads per day/ 10 per week)
- Ensuring monthly sales targets are met (minimum target to be mutually agreed with management)
- Weekly / Monthly reporting on leads and generated sales to management
- Engages in superior customer service by exhibiting excellent communication, collaboration, team building and leadership skills.
- Demonstrating products and services as deemed necessary by management to clients.
- Answers questions from clients through inbound and outbound calls.
- Cold calling to leads
- Research client base to find new types of customers and sells to them accordingly
- Creates a plan for gaining customers and then retaining them
- Analyzes and creates a plan for engaging the target market
- Adhering to company procedures and processes
- Ad hoc activities as assigned by management
Sales & Marketing Manager Required: Qualifications & Experience
- Strong Digital Marketing Skills
- Excellent in English (verbal & writing)
- Experienced in B2B sales and marketing environment
- Good Communication Skills; Demonstrable experience of communicating effectively with others, in person or over the phone; ideally experience of direct sales or telesales.
- Experience in effectively influencing people using your excellent communication skills, both in-person and over the phone
- Results-driven attitude
- Ability to do extra hours if required
- Non 9 to 5 mentality
- Educated to degree level or equivalent. (Preferably Bachelor or Masters)
- Confident communicator with good listening skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- A good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word. Excel & PowerPoint)
- Valid Driver’s License
