Job Description


The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for marketing activities online, billboards, TV, Radio stations and selling of products & services by providing first-class service in other to boost sales. He/she acts as an intermediary between Jogobu company and clients.

To meet this objective, the Sales & Marketing Manager identify potential opportunities, validate the opportunities, establish marketing/pricing strategies, and close sales deals. The objective of this role is to improve sales, increase market share and brand preference.

Sales & Marketing Executive Responsibilities:

  • Online Posting/Advertising of company products and services on (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram & Twitter, etc)
  • Arranging of traditional advertisements (Radio, Tv, Newspaper & Billboards)
  • Organizing Seminars, Workshops, Company Event’s, and Marketing Campaigns
  • Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials and sending weekly marketing emails.
  • Maintaining and Updating Customer Mailing List
  • Prospecting and Visiting of Clients
  • Daily / Weekly leads generation (minimum of 2 validated leads per day/ 10 per week)
  • Ensuring monthly sales targets are met (minimum target to be mutually agreed with management)
  • Weekly / Monthly reporting on leads and generated sales to management
  • Engages in superior customer service by exhibiting excellent communication, collaboration, team building and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrating products and services as deemed necessary by management to clients.
  • Answers questions from clients through inbound and outbound calls.
  • Cold calling to leads
  • Research client base to find new types of customers and sells to them accordingly
  • Creates a plan for gaining customers and then retaining them
  • Analyzes and creates a plan for engaging the target market
  • Adhering to company procedures and processes
  • Ad hoc activities as assigned by management

Sales & Marketing Manager Required: Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong Digital Marketing Skills
  • Excellent in English (verbal & writing)
  • Experienced in B2B sales and marketing environment
  • Good Communication Skills; Demonstrable experience of communicating effectively with others, in person or over the phone; ideally experience of direct sales or telesales.

 

  • Experience in effectively influencing people using your excellent communication skills, both in-person and over the phone
  • Results-driven attitude
  • Ability to do extra hours if required
  • Non 9 to 5 mentality
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent. (Preferably Bachelor or Masters)
  • Confident communicator with good listening skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • A good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word. Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Valid Driver’s License
