Job Description
• Maintain a holistic education of the entire school and foster a healthy learning environment for students/learners
• Supervise teaching and non-teaching staff
• Oversee day-to-day school operations
Qualification Required & Experience
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant qualification. A Master’s Degree in a relevant subject area will be an added advantage
• A teaching license is preferred
• Should have previous experience as a Headmaster or a similar role for not less than 5 years
• Should be between the ages of 45 and 55 years
• Should have a comprehensive understanding of the Ghana Education system and its regulations
• Knowledge of school administrative processes
• Must be computer literate, practical experience with MS Office, and education management systems, generally, technologically savvy
• Must possess good leadership and excellent inter-personal and communication skills (verbal and written), attention to detail, presentation and organisational abilities
• Must possess a record of establishing and maintaining high academic standards and discipline
• Ability to manage crises, coach and inspire
• Setting performance objectives for students and teachers
• Overviewing administrative task (e.g, updating employee/staff records
