Education Trainer at Tony Blair Institute for Global Change

About Generation Global

Generation Global is the Tony Blair Institute’s global citizenship education programme. It enables young people to embrace the future, equipped with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to become active, global and open-minded citizens. The Generation Global programme has been running since 2009. It has supported over 593,000 young people and trained over 15,000 teachers from more than 30 countries in the skills of intercultural dialogue.

Our training programmes are focused on educators in both formal and in-formal settings, ranging from secondary teachers in government and private schools, to community leaders and volunteers. Generation Global offers both in-person and virtual workshops that are highly interactive and experiential to support educators in learning dialogue theory and practice. Trainings involve the educator learning both knowledge of dialogic skills while practicing the same activities they would be expected to facilitate with learners. Train the trainer sessions may also be offered to support capacity building within learning communities and to aid youth leaders in collaborating with their peers.
