Reputable IT Company is searching for a suitably qualified or experienced candidate to fill in the position of DevOps Engineer
You will have:
- Previous hands on experience working in a DevOps team, alongside engineers and developers
- An ability to implement scalable solutions: you know how to design systems that go from small to big.
- 2+ years experience deploying to, and managing complex AWS environments – ideally multi account using AWS organisations in high volume systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical ideas clearly
- Strong scripting ability in Python, Bash, Perl
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD platforms
- Experience in installing and configuring DevOps tools (Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, VSTS, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, or similar tools)
- Experience with Continuous Integration, TDD, Agile, Lean and other engineering & delivery practices
- Endlessly passionate about automation (of all the things!)
- A good understanding of multiple programming/scripting languages with the ability to adapt to new languages
- Passionate about containers, microservices & serverless technology
- Relevant certifications – highly regarded although not essential – we’re more interested in what you’ve done in production than in a lab!
